Holding space

I want to take your compliment
Hold space for praise
Somewhere in my body
Accept it, take it like powerful medicine
A homeopathy
I will hold it under my tongue
Absorb it in my bloodstream
Let it burn there, dissolve
Part of me
Building up instead of tearing down

I hold space for winning, owning, and celebrating

Here is my success
I am pleased with what I’ve done

Here is my belonging
I am proud of who I am
