Weather – gratitude challenge #17

Sunlight through leavesIt’s going to be hot tomorrow. Not just hot. Foul.

We’ve had a foul day each week since new year and so far, they’ve been mostly avoided through air conditioning.

Tomorrow, we might just flop around like limp sails hoping for a breeze – like everyone else.

I don’t mind though.

I think Melbourne weather is amazing. It’s dramatic and ever changing. The hot, foul wind of summer is balanced by autumn colour, winter snows and spring flowers everywhere.

It’s better to appreciate diversity than bemoan the occasional extreme.
