Living each day much muchier

Food – gratitude challenge #20

I’ve had a patchy relationship with food. I love it a bit too much in a needy and desperate sort of way and in return, it hasn’t treat me well.

I know this about myself.

A few years ago, I decided to never diet again. I cut processed sugar out, but remained open to the realm of all good things. I failed.

Failing has reinforced what I know about myself. Sugar is an addiction and I’m better off without it.

Now, this (left) is my idea of a tasty meal – sourdough I baked myself, ricotta and avocado with a black coffee. I’m grateful for food because food is amazing.

I treat it with respect and it treats me much better these days!
